I’ve been doing this eCommerce Consulting thing for quite a few years now and I’ve been searching awhile for an open source eCommerce package that’s not just good, but excellent. Something that is flexible, looks good out of the box, is easy to use, and is enterprise-ready. It should be secure, fast, and not constrain me to a certain business model. This spring a new product was announced:

The product hasn’t been released yet, but at first glance looks to be really slick, that is, if it lives up to the claims of its creators. I started this blog to collect all the information I could get on Magento. Looks exciting so far!
